Confirmation Instruction:
Confirmation instruction is two years of instruction on the basics of the Christian faith. Before being able to join the rest of the congregation at the Lord's Table for Holy Commion, a young person is asked to complete confirmation. This is so that the young Christian will know what the church believes and teaches.
Traditionally, confirmation instruction is offered to students in 7th and 8th grade. However, if you are older and have not been confirmed, we would invite you to join us to learn more about the basic teachings of the Bible. Following this instruction, the student is invited to confess (or confirm) that they are a Christian in front of the rest of the congregation. Following this confirmation of faith, the student is welcomed as a member of the congregation and is invited to join the rest of our church family at the Lord's Supper.
